Study On The Foresight Of The Key Technology And Main Research Area For Animal Husbandry Science And Technology In China

Technology foresight focuses on systemic research on science, technology and society development in the upcoming longer period. Its object is to determine the strategic research area, to select a group of technologies greatly contributed to economy and society. This study summarized the definition of technology forecast, significant meaning, development process, main methods, typical case and performance results by documental analysis. The development process of science and technology planning in China was reviewed, so the realistic significance for developing technology foresight in China and the shortage existed in works were put forward. This paper selected the survey method and the steps of technology foresight suitable for China industry science and technology with animal husbandry industry as a case, and applied the Delphi survey method to study the development of science and technology in near 20 years.The results showed that the main goal of China science and technology of animal husbandry was improving the quality of animal products, then considering the economic benefits and industrialization management. The constraints for the development of animal and husbandry industry included the low degree of industrialization management, the lack of finance investment and the lag of science and technology. The prior research area for the development of animal husbandry science and technology is animals and birds breeding and epidemic disease control, nutrition feed, and environment engineer, grassland animal husbandry, animal products processing. This paper also analyzed and expatiated technology development status, technology restricting factors and technology demands for six research area systemically, including animals and birds breeding, epidemic disease control, nutrition feeds, environment engineering, grassland animal husbandry and animal products processing. By the comparison of the level of science and technology development in home and abroad, the technology development goal, the gap of technology development and development direction for various research areas of animal husbandry industry in China were advanced, In the end, this paper put forward 30 items of key technologies, 25 items of important projects for basic research and 24 items of high technology development projects for the science and technology development in the animal husbandry industry of China. And with some important research aspect, their main research content, research emphasis, key technology and development goal were also stated respectively.
