A Study On The Environmental System Supporting The Cultivation Of Dongguan's High-tech Entrepreneurs

Nowadays, high technology industry has become the No. 1 economic growth point for Dongguan City. Furthermore, the local government has put the project of "technological Dongguan" at the top of a list of four projects for its urban development. Therefore, the cultivation of high-tech entrepreneurs will have critical influence on the implementation of the city's "Science and Technology for Development" strategy. However, the past researches on the cultivation of Dongguan's high -tech entrepreneurs are so deficient that it is necessary to launch a study into the environmental factors which have great impact on the cultivation of Dongguan's high-tech entrepreneurs.Based on the periodic characteristic of high-tech entrepreneurs' growth, the article has constructed an analysis model—the environmental system supporting the cultivation of regional high-tech entrepreneurs. Using this model, I have done a research into the status quo of the cultivation of Dongguan's high-tech entrepreneurs, and have drawn some conclusions as follows:(1)High level high-tech and managerial intellectuals with high degrees increase year by year, but the total number is small. Moreover, in the recent two years, high-tech innovative talent has been draining out of this region. All these have limited the supply of entrepreneurial reserve ;(2)The troop of high-tech entrepreneurs expands quickly, but it is still not very large.Besides, their qualities and innovation abilities are somewhat low;(3)Although the growing environment for high-tech entrepreneurs improves day by day, there are still some unfavorable factors which will prevent the entrepreneurs from growing up.For example, the city's entrepreneurial culture isn't developed enough; the high-tech industry lacks an innovative industrial...
