In resent years, as a catalyst and impetus of the New Economy, venture capitalhas grown rapidly and become more and more important. It is invested into theenterprises with high-tech, high risk, rapid growth and high return. The operationprocess includes financing, investment and management, also it is a process whichcombines with capital, science and technology. The whole process of venture capitalcan be divided into six phases: collecting fund for the project, electing the project,evaluating the project, negotiation and signature file, management and withdraw.Evaluating the project is an important phase. It will influence the success of a projectdirectly. If a project has not a good perspective, it will fail at last even if dropped in alot of resource such as management, capital, technology and others. So venturecorporation should evaluate venture enterprise efficiently in order to improve profitand decrease risk.The evaluation methods discussed in this thesis are highly practiced and byevaluating the project overall, the preliminary examination of venture capital preventsa rash investment and does not pass up a good investment opportunity.
