Analysis On Rural Households' Adoption Behavior Of Dropping Irrigation Technology Under Mulching Film

More and more countries have realized the present crisis of water resources and have taken a series of measures to improve the current ultilization of water resources. In China, though there is a large plenty of water resources, but the average occupation is quite small and the development of water resources is rather hard, so the shortage of water resources has become the main factor impeding the social and economic development. The water-saving agriculture is really significant to alleviate the crucial shortage of water resources, for agriculture plays the largest part in water ultilization. If all the individual peasants are able to adopt advanced water-saving irrigation technology, it is quite possible to develop the potential productivities completely to enhance the efficience of water resources ultilization, because the individual peasants are playing the practical role in water-saving irrigation. Fortunately, the current governments are striving to urge all peasants to use water-saving irrigation apparatuses, including drop irrigation technology of water saving under mulching film.By researching how farmers to adopt drop irrigation technology of water saving under mulching film, what effect on their decision and how farmers to make decision. This paper try to put forward some efficient political advice based on the real situation of countries and farmers in our country, in order to promote the altering progress of agricultural scientific and technological achievements. To attain such a goal, this paper concludes: Comparing the difference between those who adopt drop irrigation technology of water saving under mulching film and those who do not adopt;Analyzing decision of rural households adoption behavior and government irrigation water price policy. Analyzing the external and internal factors which effect on the rural households adoption behavior;Econometrcal analyzing the rural households adoption behavior of drop irrigation technology of water saving under mulching film;Analyzing the progress of households to adopt new technology.As a result, this paper concludes that: to adopt drop irrigation technology of water saving under mulching film enhances the income and outcome efficiency of rural households;The government irrigation water price policy can steer the adoption behavior of rural households;The factors which effect on the households adoption behavior conclude country culture, the value outlook of farmer, the country basic organization, agricultural insurance, the spread of agriculture, the educational level of farmer and the attitude of farmer to new technology;The main factors which effect on rural households adoption behavior of drop irrigation technology of water saving under mulching film are the educational level of rural households, whether or not are the country basic organization's cadre and the outcomes. The rural households' decision progress contains five steps: recognizing the problems;demanding and desiring;collecting information and assessing the technologies;choosing and adopting;and the next decision based on using.Based on such conclusion, this paper puts forward several pieces of advice: Improving the country basic organizations and setting up effectible management system;To improve the insurence system ofrelated new technology;To enhance the educational quality of rural households;To complete the spread of agriculture;To adopt agricultural research timely;To accdlerate and improve the development of a land market to facilitate appropriate land ceculation;Government should make reasonable stimulating and supporting policy related to adoption of technologic innovation;To establish and practice operation regulation of water-saving technology and the like realative regulation system.
