Research On Integration And Optimization Of Supply Chain Management For Mass Customization

Since the 1990's,with the acceleration of economy globalization and integration, the fast development of modern science and intensive competition in the market, the demands of customers are becoming more and more diverse and individual, and this situation is promoting the change that the competitive focus among enterprises is concentrated on how to satisfy customers'individual demands. Traditional Mass Production(MP) can't satisfy the competition demands any more, Mass Customization, represented as MC for short, emerges as the times require under this background. A feasible approach to Mass Customization must depend on Integrated Supply Chain Management(ISCM),for this reason, this article will study that an enterprise how to harmonize and optimize their supply chain system for Mass Customization.Based on the analyses of domestic and overseas literatures, the main content of the paper is as follows:Firstly, this paper introduce the background and basic thoughts and characteristics of MC, and then depict the principal thoughts and contents of ISCM, analyzes the functions and characteristics of SCM based on MC. Secondly, to develop the estimate index system about supplier under MC, set up fuzzy comprehensive estimate model, and discuss about special measures to develop the partnership with the supplier. Thirdly, by applying the theory of ERP,JIT,GT and BPR ,to illuminate the harmonization and optimization problems of enterprise production under MC. Fourthly, discuss the marketing strategy for MC, and introduce the promotion to the sales process of MC by several advanced physical distribution technologies, propose to build dynamic association of ISCM for MC. Finally, according to the analysis of the characteristics of ISCM performance estimation on MC, this paper set up the estimate index system of ISCM performance, develop evaluation model based on the improvement of grey association method, and illustrate the validity by an example.At last, sum up the present achievement and the prospect of future research are brought forward in this paper.
