Research On Volunteered Earthquake Disaster In-Formation Acquisition Platform

At the moment, VGI has a wide range of applications in disasters and otheremergencies information acquisition in foreign countries. This paper studies the con-tent for fast access to detailed information on the earthquake. After studying the WebService, OpenLayers, ArcGIS, Android and related technologies, developed the vo-lunteered earthquake disaster information acquisition platform. The platform meet theneeds of the rapid access to detailed disaster information of earthquake, provide dataand technical support for the emergency deployment and post-earthquake reconstruc-tion of the state and local governments.The main work and research results are as follows:(1) Through discussion of the worker and volunteers collecting earthquake dis-aster information, the concept of the volunteers of collecting earthquake disaster in-formation was defined. The paper studies of the distinction between traditional vo-lunteers and the new volunteers of collecting earthquake disaster information, andadvantage of new volunteers of collecting earthquake disaster information.(2) According to the characteristics and category of earthquake disaster informa-tion, the modeling of earthquake disaster information emergency database were com-pleted(3) By using the abroad experience in acquiring disaster information, methods ofearthquake disaster information acquisition, earthquake disaster information integra-tion and its display technology were studied, and the platform was developed.
