In recent years,with the coming of mobile internet era and the popularity of smart mobile terminal equipment,the Mobile GIS has ushered in the new development opportunities.Applications which based on Mobile GIS have already permeated in every profession.Mobile GIS is becoming a very popular research direction in the field of GIS,there are a lot of companies,research organizations.or individuals who have developed a variety of Mobile GIS applications,Mobile GIS is in an unprecedented prosperous time.Firstly,this thesis analyses the research status and the existing:problems of Mobile GIS applications at the stage.This paper find that although-Amap,Baidu map and those applications based on these map app can meet the need of the public life service,however they can not provide users with more comprehensive and professional Mobile GIS function in some special fields.The traditional GIS companies such as ESRI and SuperMap,they provide Mobile GIS Application development kit,however,they are so expensitive.This thesis is aimed at the demand of Mobile GIS function for the users in special field. This thesis desigens an implementation scheme of Mobile GIS app on Android platform, which is based on DTIS, uses Qt for Android as the the way to develop Mobile GIS app on Android. The scheme has achieved some fucntion,such as organization of map scene in mobile app, the management mechanisms of MapCanvas and Film, parallel rendering of map layer in multi thread on Multi-core phone,pinch and pan gesture on-mobile map.the development of plotting component for mobile.At last,this thesis get a Mobile GIS develop kit for Android,users can quickly develop Mobile GIS applications with this kit. This thesis develops two Mobile GIS apps with this develop kit, they are mobile expert and technical consulting system for soil testing and formulated fertilization,mobile plotting system.The first app provide information of formulated fertilization for Agricultural Sci-tech Staff on mobile.The second app achieves Mobile Plotting function.It is very suitable for command personnel in the mobile state to provide emergency command decision support.Finally,this thesis summarizes my own research work about how to develop Mobile GIS app,then points out the shortcomings of my research and the-next work needs to be done.
