Continuous casting mold is the slab forming equipment in the continuous castingprocess, which is called the "heart" of the continuous casting machine. Realizing real-timemonitoring of the continuous casting mold oscillation system and making it oscillate inaccordance with the law of the given waveform can effectively improve the casting speedand the quality of the slab surface. Therefore, this paper makes the oscillation controlsystem of continuous casting mold driven by servo motor as the research object, designs aPC monitoring system of the continuous casting mold driven by servo motor oscillationsystem and carries out the experimental study.Firstly, this paper describes the research status of the oscillation technology and themonitoring system of the continuous casting mold. According to the analysis of thefunctional requirements for the PC monitoring system of the continuous casting moldoscillation system, an overall design plan of monitoring system is proposed.Secondly, according to the continuous casting production process and monitorrequirements, a complete function design of the monitoring system of the continuouscasting mold driven by servo motor oscillation system is made based on the configurationsoftware WinCC, which includes the login, parameter setting, a single flow monitoring,multi-flow monitoring, alarm and other functional interface designs. The PC monitoringsystem achieves real-time monitoring and control of continuous casting mold oscillationsystem. The combination design of structural variable and the screen template is suitablefor on-site multi-flow continuous casting mold oscillation monitoring system.Then, in order to facilitate the data management, archived data and operation recorddata management system is designed. Using WinCC user archiving data can achieve thestorage of process data; because the WinCC fast archiving data can’t be direct accessed,ADO data interface is adopted to access the WinCC fast archiving database, which realizesthe query and management functions of archiving data and the display of query results inthe visual interface; the report forms design and print function are achieved by using VBSscript; finally the operation record data management system is designed to realize thestorage and query functions on the operator operation records. Finally, according to the simulation oscillation table control system of continuouscasting mold driven by servo motor, the hardware configuration and networkcommunication systems are designed, the control and data exchange programs aredesigned, and the experimental research on PC monitoring system of the continuouscasting mold oscillation system is made. The experimental results show that the PCmonitoring system of the continuous casting mold oscillation system designed in thispaper can realize the real-time monitoring of continuous casting mold oscillation systemand the comparison analysis function of multi-flow continuous casting mode vibrationconditions. The system is stable and reliable, which can meet the requirements of theoscillation monitoring of the continuous casting mode.
