Continuous Casting Mold Monitoring Of Running Process Parameters To Optimize The System

The continuous casting mould is a pivotal device of continuous casting. The vibrant parameter is quite important to the continuous casting, which is related to the steel quantity and quality. This paper is purpose to probe into how to monitor and adjust these real time parameters.The basic modeling of the parameter optimizing is built on the analysis of the continuous casting mould and the fieldwork requirement. And an experimental system, which is consisted of four parts including sensor, conditional circuit, DAQ card and software, is designed on that modeling. The paper discusses the design of conditional circuit, drivers of DAQ card and the software in details. Debugging results, which are tested under the environment of the LabVIEW, are presented at the end of this paper.
