Buckwheat is a natural green food which processing industry is developing very quickly. Demand for buckwheat is increasing in domestic and international market. Shelled buckwheat as raw materials which quality is very important in the processing process. But in the separation process, shelled buckwheat and buckwheat can not separate entirely, so the quality of shelled buckwheat is very poor. As a result, the development of deep processing industry is restricted. we designed of sieve plates with different parameters and found the optimal structure parameters of sieving shelled buckwheat in the reciprocating sieve and then we took different feeding amount and the screen body vibration frequency as experiment factors and took the false sieving rate and non-sieving rate for the test index, the sieving experiment used sieve plate with the best sieving effect and sieving on the rotary flat sieve. All this experiment is to find out best sieving parameter combination.The test result show that:①sieving the mixture consist of buckwheat and shelled buckwheat whose size range φ4.6~4.7mm on the reciprocating sieve, the newly designed round plate sieve sieving effect is better than the traditional round plate sieve and the traditional round plate sieve sieving effect is better than the triangular plate sieve. The newly designed round plate sieve whose aperture isφp4.3mm has the best sieving effect.②we took cp4.3mm newly designed sieve sieving the mixture consist of buckwheat and shelled buckwheat whose size range φ4.6~4.7mm on the rotary flat sieve, when the feed quantity is6901.4g/min(the corresponding material door open degree is4),the screen vibration frequency is7.23Hz(the frequency counter frequency is44Hz),the false sieving rate is4.2%,non-sieving rate is13.9%, so at this time, the sieving effect is best.
