Dry mortar as a new type of green construction material is being promoted and applied by compulsive national policy. Probability screen is used for sieving dry sand during the dry mortar production, which plays an important role in ensuring the quality of dry mortar. Therefor, the researches of probability sieving theory and the influences on sieving, have an important theoretical and practical value for probability screen design, which come from screen parameters.Firstly, the mechanism of the probability screen is introduced systematically, as well as the choice of technological parameters and calculation of dynamical parameters, and then provides a theoretical basis for the design of probability sifting. The technological parameters include incline angle of screen plane, vibration intensity, frequency amplitude, vibration direction angle and so on.Secondly, the concepts of grain diameter and particle size distribution are introduced and the method for determing separate grain granularity is studied, based on the particle. As well as, the theory of penetrating screen-apeture is researched and the ways to determining hard sieve particle and critical screen incline angle, which is the base of probability sieving theory.Thirdly, applied MATLAB language, the procedure of establishing the mathema-tical model of particulate assembly penetrating screen-aperture along the screen plane is drew up. According to the experiment data from the book of Screening Theory and its Application, the mathematical model is established by the procedure. The results from the book and what is obtained above are compared.Finally, based on the mathematical model what is established above, the relations between screening efficiency and the parameters of probability screen plane, such as screen length, screen-aperture and screen incline angle, and the contend of input are studied applied the MATLAB language. The results indicate that the choice of screen lengh is according to the technological requirements of screening efficiency. Overlong screen lengh leads to lower screening efficiency. Screen-aperture is decided by the screening demand in order to insuring proper relative granularity and reducing the content of hard sieve particle and impediment. Screen incline angle is determined by the screen lengh and the relative granularity. In order to ensure the sieving thorou-ghly, longer screen lengh is fit for less screen incline angle and shorter for bigger. The content of the input has little effect on screening efficiency, so the efficiency is steady in the whole sieving process while the content is changing.
