For adapting to the drilling platforms and super deep land drilling rigs, a research iscarried out for the working theory and condition of rotary table used for drilling rigs.Developing a new type of rotary table becomes a necessary trend. Thus, we design anddevelop ZP375reinforced rotary table. The operating condition of rotary table under actualworking situation is simulated via FEM static&dynamic analysis of the base, input shaft,bevel gear pair, and other key parts of ZP375reinforced rotary table by utilizing AutoCADand3D software Pro/E. The accuracy of FEM method and the practicality of traditionalcalculation method is obtained by comparing FEM analysis and traditional calculation of thebevel gear. The experiment shows that the scheme of ZP375reinforced rotary table ispracticable, the structure is rational, and the operation is reliable; the main technical indexeshave reached the design requirement. Thus, the research and development of ZP375reinforced rotary table has a guiding significance for the application of rotary table in thesuper deep drilling rigs in future.
