Acute Toxicity Test, Mices perm abnormality test, Test methord of mammalian bone narrow chromosome aberration and Sub-chronic toxicity Test were done to evaluate the toxicitye of Essen Oil of Sabina vulgaris. The main conclusions are followings:1、Acute Toxicity Test:The half lethal dose(LD50) of Essen Oil of Sabina vulgaris was2570mg·kg-1and its95%confidentimit was2763mg·kg-1~2391mg·kg-1. The results suggested that Acute Toxicity Test from Essen Oil of Sabina vulgar is low toxic to food safety.2、Mices perm abnormality test and Test methord of mammalian bone narrow chromosome aberration:The results showed that Essen Oil of Sabina vulgar has the teratogenic effect which can contribute to sperm aberration and marrow cell micronucleus. The results increases with dose. The intensity sequences were1375mg/kg dose,687.5mg/kg dose and343.8mg/kg dose.3、Sub-chronic toxicity Test:Sabina vulgar has obvious sub-chronic effect in the experiment doses.Different dose can inhibit the growth rate and food intake of mice. The results increases with dose and time. The intensity sequences1375mg/kg dose,687.5mg/kg dose and343.8mg/kg dose. The results showed that blood biochemical indexes were abnormal. Essen Oil of Sabina vulgaris could make liver function, renal function and blood protein abnormal. The results increases with dose and time. The intensity sequences1375mg/kg dose,687.5mg/kg dose and343.8mg/kg dose. Histological abnormal or damage were found in liver, kidney, stomach and testis. The results increases with dose and time. The intensity sequences1375mg/kg dose,687.5mg/kg dose and343.8mg/kg dose.4、The estimated MNEL of Essen Oil of Sabina vulgaris should be lower than6.9mg/kg-bw-d.
