For a long time the coal industry is the pillar industry of national economy in our country, with the development of our national economy, the demand for coal is increasing. For most of the small and medium-sized coal mines, which occupy a larger proportion of the exploitation amount of coal in our country, still adopt the traditional drilling and blasting method for production operation. How to transport gangue and raw coal quickly has always been a difficulty in coal mine production. Through the field investigation, in the construction of coal mine roadway, gangue transportation efficiency directly affect the efficiency of coal mining and have become the important factor which restrict the development of the coal mine. So the development of efficient gangue loading, transport equipment has been imminent. As we all know, the scraper bucket rock loader or full hydraulic side unloading rock loader equipped with mine car is used to transport gangue in most coal mines, which can not realize high efficiency continuous mucking operation, while mining mucking loader is the most efficient in such devices. For mining mucking loader, the rationality of the selection of the design parameters and structure form directly affect the material loading quantity and transport efficiency. The working mechanism and walking mechanism, conveying mechanism, the frame, hydraulic system are extremely important, their design and manufacturing directly influent the performance of mining mucking loader.This paper based on the mechanics, mechanical design and theory, and other related knowledge, according to the analysis and research on the working principle and structure of the working mechanism and walking mechanism, conveying mechanism and hydraulic system of the existing mining mucking loader, combine its using conditions and the related performance parameters of mining mucking loader, the calculation method of the key parameters was given, such as the loading ability, maximum driving force, loading resistance and digging resistance. According to the analysis and research on the existing hydraulic system of mining mucking loader, in accordance with the working characteristic of coal mine, in light of the change of load, a kind of hydraulic control system respectively controlled by the quantitative and variable systems was put forward. By analyzing the existing structure of mining mucking loader frame, the connection mode "bond station lap" between the frame and the walking mechanism was pointed out, which was more convenient to dismantle, get higher stiffness, larger ground clearance and stronger crossing properties, and more suitable for the coal mine working need. According to the characteristic of loading material, in order to break bulk mine rock, the breaking hammer and the bucket integrated design mode was given, which effectively avoided the defect that regular construction machinery’s breaking and digging working often need dismantled. And the calculation method for the bucket capacity and crushing force was deduced, the structure design characteristic of the bucket was summarized. Also it was pointed out that the breaking hammer and the bucket integrated design mode was more suitable for the using condition of mining mucking loader. Through the analysis of walking mechanism working principle and structure, the calculation method and checking criterion of the crawler contact length, pitch, caterpillar pin shaft strength, the ground pressure and the parameters of the driving wheel, and the driving force of walking mechanism was introduced. The related parameters of driving sprocket, transport capacity and transport resistance was checked according to the characteristic of the mine transportation condition. The application practice and result of this research object showed that the design theory and design method described in this article was reasonable and have important practical value.
