| With the increasingly serious problem of global energy, countries are activelyseeking and developing new energy. Development and utilization of new energy issignificant for the future society and national energy safety. As a supplement totraditional energy, the Emerging of shale gas is an abundant natural gas resources andalleviate current world’s energy crisis effectively.US has achieved commercial exploitation of shale gas, and in2009with theproduction of624billion m3shale gas has overtaken Russia as the biggest natural gasproducer. Our vast mainland China own a lot shale gas reserves, but is still exploringuncertain stage. Our study researched the development trend of shale gas explorationand development, which is great significant to national support policies andenterprises’innovation.Based on patent information, the paper analyzes the development of shale gasaround the world, insights key technology and efficiency of horizontal drilling,compares the gap of patent activities between China and the US, and provide ourcountry and company advices for future development.First of all, we respectively analyze from six dimension: development process,technology life cycle, technical branch, regional distribution, productive companies,and hotspot technologies. To show the distance between China and the US in patentresearch activities.Secondly, via text mining of horizontal well drilling, we extract terms and effectsemi automated and build technology efficiency diagram which tells certaintechnology’s development prospects by its location in the diagram. The diagramprovides a basis for formulating patent strategy for companies under specificcircumstances.Last but not least, based on the analysis above we detail the shale gas industry inour country’s advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and threats. Suggestions fromthree aspects of country, enterprise and technology, provide theoretical basis for rapid,stable, and healthy development of shale gas industry. |
