Mold base is defined by the template, guide post, guide sleeve and reset the rod andother parts. Mold base is an important part of the injection mold,and it accounted forabove30%of the cost of the mold. Mold manufacturing enterprises use AutoCAD designmold and draw two-dimensional drawings, in a non-standard mold design process,mold-dimensional engineering drawings are prone to design flaws. Prior to manufacturing,the need for customer drawings is the process review, companies need to spend a lotmoney and time on the design flaws manually retrieve and repair in order to reduce theprocessing scrap.By analyzing the design flaws of the enterprise data model deposited in ten years, alltypes of errors can be grouped into seven types which effectively cover all defects. Bytraversing the property between the size and objects one by one, you can complete errorchecking and modification. In addition, mold manufacturing enterprises arrangeproduction according to a fixed process route, characteristics of the layers need to organize,facilitate the programming department for accurate and efficient processing of preparations.Mold part features can be divided into mold-frame and hole type features. Process hasbeen characterized by the hole type features,and everyone has a corresponding process.Mold-frame elements according to the type of mold frame are divided into three categoriestotaling thirteen small classes. Each class can also correspond to the different sizes.Moreover, different sizes corresponding to the mold frame are different processes. Thus,according to the hole and mold-frame class features, the use of AutoCAD attributefunction modules developed to organize and classify layers, providing great conveniencefor subsequent programming.The project study the CAD data of mold base defects, including classification, andproposed solutions, and ultimately automatically detect and repair CAD data defects. Bystudying the process route, we proposed the method of class mold-frame and hole typesfeatures to different layers. In the long run, various features categorized based on thescience project that can provide the basis for automatic processing program, to maximizethe economic benefits of the project.
