Applications Of Wireless Networking Technology In Oil-field Monitoring System

With the development of technology, improving technology has not been only for theeconomic benefit, more for the liberation of human productivity or the security of personalsafety in modern society. Applying wireless networking, which is playing a significant role,is becoming a trend.Based on the analysis of the wireless network system’s characteristics, the structure ofwireless system, topology and protocol stack are introduced in detail. Comparing with shortdistance wireless technology such as bluetooth, infrared, argued the suitability andapplicability of ZigBee technology in the oilfield environment. Then the oil fieldmonitoring system is introduced from hardware and software.In hardware, ZigBee module which core is CC2530realizes the collection andtransmission of oil field information. Using sensors, which are small and have highaccuracy of measurement, is conducive to more accurately monitor the production data,which are transferred to the coordinator through the wireless network. The Serial Interfacejoins the coordinator to the monitoring center where data are collected, classified anddisplayed.In software, the control system of field data collecting is designed. The networkingprocess implementation includes that how the coordinator builds up a network, how theterminal nodes join the network, how to communicate with each other between bothterminal nodes and routers, the coordinator. It makes people understand clearly the processof the networking in the case of being not allowed to see the code’s operation details. Themonitoring center, which guards the intelligent monitoring and management in the oil field,is designed.The actual network test makes sure the feasibility of the application program. Thescheme, which is easy to network and transmit long distance and has good stability, hasbroad application prospects.
