In addition, there are tworeasons make the traditional manual custom can not be promoted. The first, the designlacks quantitative standard. The second, to the different places of users, the patterndesign is low. Since clothing CAD is born, it brings to the clothing enterprise’seconomic great benefits that are obvious to all. But most of the clothing CAD designsystem is the copy of manual plate making. The parametric garment plate makingmodel researched in this paper can largely improve the efficiency of plate making,and satisfy the demand of consumers to fit.In this paper, the research content includes:1) Through the literature reading,clear the research content by analysising current problems in apparel CAD designsystem.2) The relation between clothing structure and human body structure and thebody feature points on the pattern of on site can be finded by analyzing thecharacteristic of the human upper body. And, in essence, the author analyzes thereasons of clothing structure design and determines the key size of the human body.3)In the suit of plate making experiments, this paper obtains empirical data that can leadto size flexible, by making template and communicating with experts.4) Theparametric templet model can be built by using automatic generation and interactiondesign technology.5) Through the analysis of the fashion design elements and model,the paper gets factors about suit design and builds classification Code System. usingthe parameter driven model files on the basis of the relational model Suit model cangenerate a new model, and establishes the model component library. According to thesite, Suit can be divided into model library of collar, sleeve sample library and modellibrary of breast pocket, pouches template library and garment body library.6) We getthe samples by suit sewing experiment. To suit the fit and beautiful of the fitting, putforward the problems and solve them. At the same time, modify the parameters in themodel accordingly. Finally, the reliability of the model was validated by experiment. The research result is establisheing sample parts parametric relational model onthe human body. And On the basis of this model, generate new models and build suitsample parts library by transforming parameters.
