With the rapid development of computer technology, communication networktechnology and industrial control technology, the degree of automation in industry isgradually improving. Due to the good performance of transformer oil on cooling andinsulating, becomes an important part of national life. The demand of society stimulates theproduction of the transformer oil, however, the objective reason such as price makes productproduction mostly stay in manual production or low automation production mode. Thedevelopment of industrial automation promotes enterprise reform of the original production.The backward mode of transformer oil production not only affects the output ofproducts, but also resualts from problems on quality. China petroleum and Sinopec takesquite a large proportion in the production of transformer oil, the level of their automation isvery high, and foreign automatic production technology is also very advanced."PLC+WinCC" technology conforms to the trend of development, the IPC can collect the fieldproduction data and control production process, thus greatly improves the degree ofautomation of transformer oil production.This topic introduces the research and design about transformer oil automated productionline control system of a company, combines transformer oil production technology and therequirements of the client, designs the control system based on SIEMENS S7-300series PLCas the core, SIEMENS S7-200series PLC controls vacuum filtration equipment as theindependent equipment, PC monitor interface based on WinCC displays the productionprocess of transformer oil and realizes remote operation and parameter setting, all levels ofthe control system contact each other through the network communication. By using thestructured programming approach, the paper designs the program of transformer oilproduction. According to the nonlinear characteristics and lags on controling the temperatureof reactor, the paper focuses on the study of PID temperature control, compares conventionalPID and BP neural network PID simulation of the control model based onMATLAB/SIMULINK, the result show BP neural network PID control has the advantages ofsmall overshoot, short time to reach steady, good adaptability.Detecting the quality, temperature and level of equipment through the Online instrumentand sensors and designing of closed loop control, that can optimize the control for quality ofthe refined oil. The design of intermittent production control system of transformer oil canmake the company finish the production according to the requirements,and improves productquality and the benefit of the enterprise.
