Enrichment is important unit operations found in traditional Chinese medicine pharmaceutical industry. For traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is the main way of evaporation concentration on enrichment, the purpose of enrichment in does not affect the efficacy of cases as far as possible to reduce the dosage. But because of the complexity of the traditional Chinese medicine composition, as well as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in the unknown changes in the process of heating, it brings difficulties to the enrichment of Chinese traditional medicine, so choose a suitable evaporation equipment and reasonable operating parameters is particularly important. At first, this paper utilized the Fluent software to simulate the simulation platform, evaporation and concentration in the process of calculating material liquid in the scraper film evaporator temperature field and the distribution of velocity field, and in view of the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) thermal evaporation enrichment process requirements, with radix isatidis extract as experimental material, scraper film evaporator as the main experimental equipment. Studied the operation parameters on the effects of radix isatidis extraction liquid enrichment. The experimental results show that:(1) The scraper film evaporator was established based on Fluent software platform in the temperature field and velocity field distribution of the fluid. Overall distribution of the temperature field is in the axis by the entrance to the upward exports increased first, and reached the highest in evaporation section near the exit temperature decline, with the improvement of scraper speed in evaporation and increase with the decrease of the incoming flow, but in practice but also avoid the feed rate is too small; Overall speed distribution is along the direction of the film thickness in a gradual increase in the trend, speed will be increased with the increase of feed rate and scraper speed increases, the material liquid turbulent aggravating, but effective evaporation area does not necessarily increase.(2) Evaporator heat transfer coefficient increases with the increase of material flow, but there is a peak, more than the peak, the heat transfer coefficient decreases with the increase of the material flow; With the increase of evaporation temperature increase, Decreases with increasing the concentration of material.(3) Through evaporating experiments of radix isatidis extraction liquid can get:the higher evaporation temperature, the heat transfer temperature difference, the greater the feed flow rate, the greater the more conducive to the radix isatidis the concentration of the leaching solution, however, in practice, the organic integration of notice and considering cost of the equipment.(4) Simply by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method to detect the L-arginine content in radix isatidis can a good assessment of the quality of radix isatidis.
