In recent years, the capacity bottleneck in the entire company focused on sinter machine. Even works at full capacity, it can not meet the needs of coke ratios. After years of operation, in addition to the increase of corrosive gases caused by deterioration of original fuel in recent years, corrosion of dust collector is aggravate, the dust removal is seriously affected, and there is a big security risk. In order to fundamentally solve the problem, the company decides to take the BF model as reference to completely change and repair ESCS, which is for the first time at home and abroad. For Baosteel, which is a large-scale production enterprise, shutdown of sintering machine will have a big impact to the entire enterprise’s logistics balance, energy balance, and even benefits of the enterprise. Under such background, how to shorten annual repair time through innovation of ESCS project management is the target for steel enterprises to pursuit at present. The main contents of this thesis is, by referring to the project management knowledge and mainly focusing on the progress of control, to make deep research and analysis to the overhaul projects of ESCS, and further to identify the key factors which affect project progress. On this basis, detailed project schedule can be drew up, and rhythmic, balanced and continuous construction can be performed according to Planning Organization. During the project implementation process, there is timely and accurate control of the actual project progress, dynamic control and optimization to the construction plans, and a reasonable allocation of resources to address various specific issues arising in the course to achieve the purpose of effective progress control, lower construction costs and high quality construction. Good results have been achieved in the practice of Sinter II ESCS overhaul repair in Baosteel, which has provided not only valuable experience for Baosteel in implementing similar projects in the future, but also reference for domestic counterparts.Chapter one describes the research background, significance, and research methods and content. Chapter two describes related theories on project management and progress management. Chapter three describes Baosteel project management and Sinter Ⅱ ESCS overhaul repair project. Chapter four draws up a schedule through expansion and optimization to ESCS overhaul project activities, work breakdown, time valuation and logical relation. Chapter five performs dynamic control and optimization to the schedule and coordinate conflict in the progress from the perspective of progress control system, progress tracking inspection and important meetings. Chapter six is Conclusion and Outlook.
