Mining backhoe loader is an underground slag fast transport equipment in the process of tunnel excavation, the mechanical energy of the motor is converted into the hydraulic energy of hydraulic system to drive the function parts complete the function actions of walking steering, slag pick, chunks of rock breaking and slag stone transfer; digging mechanism is the most critical and complex functional component, it mainly complete a series of actions of the big arm lifting, small arm folding, bucket rotary, broken hammer stretching and digging mechanism turning, its performance directly determines the efficiency and dynamic performance,so the reliability and stability of mining backhoe loader are affected greatly by its performance; loading efficiency is an important parameter to measure the performance of backhoe loader, how to improve the efficiency of the digging mechanism, reasonable optimize the digging trajectory path is the ultimate way and measure to solve this problem which has been concerned for a long time in the industry. With the rapid development of underground rock loading equipment technology, mining backhoe loader are also constantly bring forth the new through the old, especially put forward higher requirements for the transport capacity, so the research on mining backhoe loader digging mechanism loading efficiency and dynamic characteristics have extremely important theoretical significance and economic value.Based on the analysis and research on the structure, condition characteristics and working principle of backhoe loader and its digging mechanism. The matrix vector method was adopted to establish the motion and mechanical mathematical model of backhoe loader digging mechanism with using engineering differential geometric and related mathematics, kinematics, and mechanics theory. The motion law and stress characteristics of backhoe loader digging mechanism was revealed by solving the coordinates of each key contact. Through solving and optimizing the trajectory of digging bucket tooth point what has a direct influence on loading efficiency, the main factor and related factors that can impact on the loading efficiency and dynamic characteristics were given. Among them reasonable mining path as the main factor, it relates to the main cylinder’s concrete stroke of digging mechanism. The digging trajectory length calculation formula of digging mechanism was obtained under different big arm swinging Angle. It can provide theory support for digging trajectory optimization. Based on the design requirements of the special working condition and structure of the underground work, design concept which called "high loading rate, equal intensity, high stability" of digging mechanism was put forward. The structure design methods and corresponding manufacturing techniques were given.This research object by the engineering practical application results shows that the established model is reasonable and scientific, the proposed design and manufacture method is feasible and effective, and the given influence factors are accurate. It has good technical guidance significance and application value on backhoe loader’s research and development, and it can provide certain theoretical basis for actual production application and accelerating its localization of backhoe loader.
