Research On Upgrade Technology Management Case Of DONGFAT Electric Manufactory

With the development of science and technology in the support of national policy and lots of foreign investment in, under the background of the rapid growth of high-tech enterprises, electrical manufacturing industry has been formation scale effect and contribution to China's economic growth. But on the other hand, the increasingly fast development of the global economy and the information technology, the marketable competition is more and more fierce. Technical ability's realization is becoming the key point of small and medium enterprises which can be successfully upgraded to be internationalized or not. It is especially crucial to small household electrical appliances which directly concerned with the survival and development of enterprises.During "Eleventh Five-Year" period, Chinese government has increased its support to high-tech industry. Small electrical appliances factories in China are facing a critical period for technology upgrades. Establishment and consolidation of the technological advantages of their own become the only choice to those electrical appliances manufacturing enterprises, and upgrading technology is the priority option for many enterprises.Dongfat Electric Manufacturing is a medium-sized of individually-run enterprises which product small household appliances, established in 1987 and currently with more than 2,000 employees,33,000 square meters of plant area,3,5 billion annual output values. It has always pursued "Quality first" development strategy, and gradually establish a perfect quality management system, factory management system and environment management system, and passed the approval of ISO 9001:2008, ISO14001:2004, and SA8000:2001.This thesis integrates case research method, through analysis of DONGFAT ELECTRIC Manufacturing's evolution history of technological escalation, induce its path of technology system construction; knowledge management system improvement; enterprises upgrading. To sum up an enterprises development and upgrading path for manufacturing ability-technology imported-absorb and accumulation-evaluated to self-owned design and development. Through analyze the element of success and the problem how to improve its technological escalation management, this paper has pointed out improvement of knowledge management, the suggestion and counter measurement of technological escalation strategic. In the end, it pointed out the reference significance to similar enterprises.
