With rapid development of society economy, the urban population continuous increase, construction area dramatically growth and the fast speed of people buying cars, the passenger and traffic volume of urban external activities increased sharply, and the trend is continues to grow rapidly. Under the high demand level, the contradiction between supply and demand is more and more outstanding. The initial development concept and development mode of is serious challenged. Moreover, most cities are in the period of large-scale construction and city transformation, and it still exist problems, such as the planning and binding of land use and transportation are not strong, various transportation modes can not be effective integrated, the management system of urban external traffic, and so on.Road passenger transportation integration theory is refined from the comprehensive transportation, the comprehensive transportation system and traffic integration theory and it is closely related with resident trip. It pays more attention to the travel requirements and travel efficiency of road passenger, etc. It is also more focused on transportation infrastructure network integration in physical, operating system integration in transportation services, market opening, business cooperation, technical standards, operational rules, transport price, liquidation mechanism, information and bills etc. Road passenger transport process realizes the integration of transport organization and service. On the basic of advanced technology, informatization, intelligent system overall development level,management level and service level, the supply ability has increased, the life quality, coordination and the sustainable development has balance improved.With the integration of urban road passenger transportation planning and construction as the research object, this paper analyze the meaning, characteristics, construction principles of urban road passenger transportation planning and construction integration, to research the realization ways of urban road passenger transportation planning and construction integration.
