The development of highway is an important way to solve the problem of a country's productivity divorced from production factors, promote optimal allocation of resources, maintain balanced development between regions and a strong upward momentum to promote sustainable economic development. As an important industry of the national economy, the level of highway's development is also one of the important indicators to measure the degree of a country's economic development. However, human beings' pace of economic development is always the cost of trampling on the natural environment The development of highway is without exception. The water pollution, affect to ecological environment, social environmental changes caused by air and noise pollution and various practical examples are presented to us. In China,as an important part of the environmental impact, the the run of highway's affect on water environment has gradually been valued by environmental protection and construction departments. The post-evaluation of the water environmental impact from highway does not form a unified system as well as a variety of angles and depth varies, therefore, it's an urgent requirement for sustainable development of highway to establish a systematic and independent post-evaluation of the water environmental impact from highway. In this paper, drawing a large number of academic research results, through scientific research and field-testing theories, from the highway environmental impact involved in all aspects that can affect the water environment we explore the various factors, and make a detailed analysis of the water environment for the highway around the different eco-types , establish a set of forecasting model which belongs to different water body's characteristics. At the same time, according to the proportion of various types of water in the water pollution, we establish a comprehensive evaluation model of the assessment after an environmental impact from highway. At the end of this paper, in order to verify the feasibility of this set of evaluation methods we selecte Chang-Zhang highway's water environment as our evaluation object, carry out the evaluation and draw corresponding conclusions and recommendations.
