Nowadays, with the development of logistics taken more seriously, logistics concept has been firmed. The level of logistics development reflects the degree of national economic development to some extent in a country. And aviation logistics which is the pearl on the logistics pyramid is considered as a key sign to reflect the degree of logistics development. Qingdao is famous for the economic leader of Shandong Province. With the rapid pace of external opening and sustained development of export oriented economy,t he call for the rising level of Qingdao aviation logistics becomes urgent than ever, especially on the rare opportunity of Olympic Games.By the end of 2007,Qingdao aviation logistics has 94 route resources, and is attracted by a lot of well-known airlines and air freight forwarding enterprises to work on logistics business in Qingdao. The opening route network of North-South communication, radiation West, connecting Korea and Japan consistent with the characteristics of Qingdao economic development has taken shape. However, Qingdao aviation logistics is faced with some problems such as lower level of information, lack of qualified personnel, inadequate market development efforts, less value-added services, less linking with other transportation modes, etc.With the analysis of the macroeconomic environment, Qingdao aviation logistics is faced with lots of development opportunities, e.g. regional environment, traffic environment, policy environment. At the same time, it is in the face of challenges for instance competition in domestic and international aviation logistics, competition in other fast logistics, the impact of low-carbon revolution. On the analysis of Qingdao aviation logistics, the advantages ars as follows, optimistic contribution of domestic and international aviation logistics, gradual improvement of Qingdao airport facilities, the rapid improvement in service quality of aviation cargo agents, the growing number of aviation cargo owners. The disadvantages are as follows, short-chain logistics services, less value-added services, inadequate airport network resources, poor communication of information, the lack of aviation logistics professionals, poor market integration of aviation freight forwarding companies, and scarce core resources.On the basis of SWOT analysis, the paper shows that Qingdao aviation logistics should be established in the Shandong Peninsula and gradually forms largest, most versatile, province-wide, facing to China and abroad, national leading, comprehensive aviation logistics center. And the article gives some following implementation paths on development strategy of Qingdao aviation logistics, the information construction of aviation cargo logistics, the training of aviation logistics personnel, sustain penetration and expansion of aviation cargo market, increasing value-added services, the double-Wins between enterprises and clients, the operation of multimodal transport, and so on.
