Reseach On The Enhancement Of Urban Agglomeration Competitiveness In Changzhutan

At present stage the competition between the country is manifested in the competition of cities,while the competition among cities in the geographical space is more performance for the group as the core urban area of competition between economic.Urban agglomerations competitivene will become the main form among the intemetional competition,and it play a more and more important position and role in international economic competition and cooperation.Through accelerating the development of urban agglomerations which improve the competitiveness of urban agglomeration,building a number of global and competitive urban agglomerations ,thus boost national or regional economic development. It becomes the inevitable choice of some nations or regions to achieve the economic great-leap-forward development increasingly.At present,there are few researches on urban agglomeration competitiveness in the field of regional competitiveness at home and abroad. The theories are still in the exploratory stage, the study does not mature, its research angle of view urgently needs to broaden and the research depth urgently needs to deepen. But it is necessary for China to promote urban agglomeration construction and regional economic development.The thesis takes Changzhutan urban agglomeration competitiveness as the research object to understand the development of Changzhutan and correct evaluation of its strengths, weaknesses and development potential in order to the development model,thus making it as the "Growth Pole" and "Innovation Pole" in Hunan province and central region.The thesis first ,introduces the background of the selected topics, the meaning of the research, current situation of the domestic and international research. second ,on the base of the theory of urban agglomeration it defined the connotation of urban agglomeration competitiveness.At the same time it analyzes the theoretical foundation of urban agglomeration competitiveness and constructs the evaluation index system of urban agglomeration competitiveness of the thesis.At last, using the evaluation method of urban agglomeration competitiveness choosing four samples urban agglomeration as Changzhutan urban agglomeration,Wuhan urban agglomeration, Zhongyuan urban agglomeration and Zhujiang River Delta urban agglomeration as comparative targets then it analyses the current situation, advantages and existing problems of competitiveness of Changzhutan urban agglomeration, and puts forward the concrete countermeasures to upgrade the competitiveness of Changzhutan urban agglomeration on the basis.
