Shangdang Bayinhui is an ensemble of Chinese wind and percussion instrumental music which is prevalent in today's Jincheng and Changzhi city in south-east of Shanxi province. It is a kind of self-organized folk music by the ordinary people. Bayinhui , which is a indispensable part of the local folk activities, is active in the variety of entertainment applications, such as the temple, festivals, weddings and funerals, etc. This paper will put Bayinhui in a certain cultural background that is the local folk culture and add the folk subject in, to form an interactive relationship to study. Through the analysis about the geographical and human environment, the relationship between Bayinhui and the folk activities, the operation of its organization, the craft and its transmission and its social function, this paper will reveal the ultimate folk activities'culture connotation and the meaning and influence of the contraction about the local folk culture, which will be presented the need for the protection of this kind of intangible cultural heritage. And protection should pay attention to the problems and how to develop this intangible cultural heritage. |
