In the semiconductor market experienced the second great recession, starting a new economic recovery, A company as a small-sized Japanese manufacturer of semi-conductor wafer, faces the increased competition in semiconductor industry, and how to enhance its competitive advantages, boost its market share, get a favorable competition position and develop the company comprehensively.Firstly, started from the research background, generally introduced theories research status on competitive strategy home and abroad. Secondly, introduced the enterprise competitive strategy and its features, and analyzed two methods:the value chain analysis and SWOT analysis. Then is the theoretical basis of competitive strategy. And analysis the internal and external environment with the industry environment, using two analysis methods to definite the threats, opportunities, strengths and weaknesses of A company. Then certain the A enterprise should adopt the focus strategy, by analysising Porter's three basic competitive strategy, to serve certain market, obtain competitive advantage. Finally propose some advices for A enterprise to get competitive advantage.
