With the European debt crisis and bad global economic situation influence since2011, the enterprise development environment also vary from minute to minute, low market demand and the semiconductor as indispensable components so that development prospects are uncertainty.The semiconductor industry is the high technical requirements, large investment and long return cycle industry and periodic fluctuation of the market of the industry, also fewer competitors in industry with high barriers limitation, but all are very strong strength and scale of electronic companies, so that fierce competition to survive among them.In this environment, if NXP semiconductors seeks to business opportunities in adversity and gain greater market advantage and share, then that is necessary to improve the enterprise’s strategic management, as the most important part of enterprise strategy, product strategy is the key to its success, so this paper focuses on NXP competitive strategy analysis based on NXP market environment specific analysis and evaluation, also it’s crucial to define proper company’s product strategy.In this paper, the author combined with all involved knowledge learned during the period of MBA, with a guidance of enterprise competition and product competition management theory, collected a large of data related with semiconductor industry and competitors market management for research, and have further and comprehensive analysis and study. During the course of analysis, the author applied in many strategic management tools and models, such as industry competition five-force model, internal and external factors evaluation matrix and so on, also made a comprehensive statement for external macro-environment, industry situation and internal resources allocation; then made use of the SWOT analysis model and strategic position and action evaluation matrix on the external environment and internal integrated assessment, and adopted quantitative planning evaluation matrix for NXP company product competitive strategy as differentiation strategy, and came up with more implementation plan of effective strategies, these proposals will help enterprise leaders or managers to define proper strategy or strategy implementation plan. As well as it’s valuable to semiconductor enterprise in our country define product strategy for a certain reference.
