The Study On The Tourism Development And Protection Of The Minor Ethnic Villages In Yunnan Under The Background Of New Rural Construction

This thesis firstly investigates the basic situation of traditional village's protection and tourism development on the background of Chinese New Countryside Construction. After studying the protection and development of Xidi Hongcun Villiage in south Anhui, Chuandixia Village in Beijing, Mosuo Villages of Lugu Lake and Kanas Tuvin Villages in Xinjiang, the thesis classifies the traditional villages' tourism development of our country into three categories:heritage touring, native culture experiencing touring and urban citizens' touring on their leisure time. Also, their common features and outstanding problems are summarized.Secondly, through a detailed introduction and analysis made to the tourism resources and developments of the minor ethnic villages in Yunnan, it is found that their advantages include the abundant resources, the diverse cultures and the unique tourism while their disadvantages are inconvenient traffic and development difficulty, lack of investment, inadequate propaganda and narrow knowledge fields, development lag and inflexible mechanism. Subsequently, the thesis summarizes two types of the tourism development as follows:1,External-dependence development mode, including government investment and foreign developer investment.2,Self-reliance-and-production development mode, which includes village fund-raising and villager's spontaneous activity.Finally, by exploring the two different cases of Pumi nationalities'village of Lanping county and Chengzi village of Menglun county in Xishuang Banna of Yunnan, the thesis has verified the four tragedies of the tourism protection and development of the minor ethnic villages in Yunnan which have been elaborated in chapter 4.1,Suiting measures to local conditions, stressing the characteristic and taking the advantage of development.2,Market running and multi-channel financing.3,Making an efficient market mechanism and mobilizing the development enthusiasm.4,Arousing the masses to participate in the development and constructing harmonious village.
