With the rapid development of company human resources management, performance appraisal has become an important basic work, one creative important method to arousing working staffs enthusiasm, and one way to appraisal employees' performance fairly and scientifically.This paper studied with performance appraisal of all working staff in QLT Company, by meanings of analysis current performance appraisal status of QLT Company, pointing out that performance appraisal system did not play a role in QLT Company, and only be used as an application to reduce target performance bonus, not an excitation method, performance appraisal system was nonscientific.By meanings of analysis and study on the theory of performance appraisal system, this paper amended and perfected performance appraisal system of QLT Company, building basic platform of performance appraisal system, enhancing all staff's training of performance appraisal system by the meanings of improving supervisors' paying-attention-to, leading QLT Company realizing the meanings and affection of performance appraisal system step by step; strengthening Human Resources Department in performance appraisal system, guiding the building of performance appraisal system, checking performance appraisal system result-oriented and objectivity, supervising the fairness during the whole performance appraisal process; increasing performance appraisal dimension, changing pure simple achievement evaluation to the integration of achievement evaluation, contextual performance and working attitude and abilities performance criteria, not only taking evaluation objectivity into consideration, but also adding working staff general competence evaluation considering of the futurity of the evaluation; enhancing the application of assessment outcome, perfecting the result relations between performance appraisal system with raising salaries and job promotion, associate performance appraisal result with raising salaries and job promotion directly, building omni bearing performance appraisal system.Based on an in-depth discussion on performance appraisal theories and his foundation, considering of QLT Company's actual situation, this article studied staffs present situation, was divided into four dimensions. First, illustrate the meanings,contents,study method of carrying performance appraisal, secondly, stating theoretical overview of performance appraisal, Thirdly, study the present situation of QLT company, analysis of the existing problem and reasons, finally, redesign QLT's performance appraisal system.
