Study On The Comparative International Competitiveness Of Offshore Outsourcing Of Services Between China And India

Along with the reinforcement of the economic globalization and the development of the information technology, there is a great development of international service outsourcing, which has greatly promoted the rise and development of offshore outsourcing of services. Offshore outsourcing of service,as an important reflection of the intra-product division of labor and the economic globalization,has great significances to the economic path and strategic selection of developing countries. Seizing the opportunity of offshore outsourcing of services is of great significance to China's persistent development.China has made rapid development in the offshore outsourcing of services during 2006, countries in the world are all in a tide of turning to the Service Industry'.Because of economic globalization,adjustment of the whole world industries structure,more complex marketing environment,and the fiercer competition,the service outsourcing has already been a main engine for the global economic growth.Of cource,by developing the industry of service outsourcing,China will promots her economic growth and succeed in the transit of'world factory'to'world office'in the future.Up to now,The Commerce Ministry of China has made a series of strategy planning,including'the project of thousands,hundreds and tens'to develop the industry of service outsourcing, which symbolizes'Chinese Services'industry rising.Developing the industry of service outsourcing is also great meaningful for the transit of Chinese social and economical development and the way of Chinese foreign trade growth.But its level of development are relatively insufficient in comparison with India who is more successful in developing the offshore outsourcing of services now.China and India are both in Asia and are developing countries.Both of them have large population and same problems.o comparing the situations and finding the gap between China and India will improve the development of offshore outsourcing of services in China greatly.First,this paper explained the concepts and theories of offshore outsourcing of services,then compared the off outsourcing of services between China and India during some pacts,and last it takes use of not only the quantitative Analysis to analyze the situation of offshore outsourcing of services between China and India through the index of International Market Share and Revealed Comparative Advantages but also qualitative analysis to analyze it through Diamond Model. he purpose is to propose some useful recommendations to promote China's development of offshore outsourcing of services.
