With arrivalling of the ear of knowledge economy, make knowledge as a kind of unique and unlimited resources, as well as have already become a core factor in economy development. Strain ability and innovation ability play a very important role in enterprise whether be able to survival and develop in the era of knowledge economy, while those ablities depend on the competence of collecting and sharing knowledge, especially tacit knowledge.In recent years, the research on tacit knowledge sharing have been regarded as hotsport both in academia and corporation.So the research does not bebifit to deepening the research of knowledge management, but aslo accelerating the development of Enterprise.Thus, this thesis is mainly focusing on discussing how to share tacit knowledge between Master and Prentice in Manufacturing,using literature and case study. Through the case deeply analyse that how to break through obstacle so that they could share tacit knowledge fully. There are three motives in this research; one, among those studies which embed with tacit knowledge in special industry, most of them are knowledge intensive industries. However, there is few researcher doing similarity study for Manufacturing.While our country being promoting revolution of Manufacturing actively, so the study of the tacit knowledge management will be more practicality and guidance.Two, most of enterprises especial in Manufacturing, which still using master-prentice pattern to share knowledge, while few academician generally and systemicly study how to share tacit knowledge under master-prentice pattern. Only regarding master-prentice pattern as one of methods to study. Three,though there are many studies about sharing tacit knowledge, largely focus on theoretics study. Being lack of conclusions that resulted from case study,which guide knowledge management, not meeting with practise needs.Based on above considerations, this thesis try to introduce tacit knowledge sharing into Manufacturing,furthermore aiming to tacit knowledge sharing between maste and prentice in Manufacturing. Sum up some obstacles and bring forward some advice in order to optimize tacit knowledge sharing,at last combined with case of "New master management" in Qingdao beer Ltd.,.Those could provide a few of referrences for tacit knowledge management of Manufacturing in our country. As a result, they could transform into knowledge-based Manufacturing.Furthermore,improve core competitiveness.In general, this thesis has two innovations:one, the study give prominence to the importance of tacit knowledge sharing, explore the obstacle and advice of tacit knowledge sharing. Review previous works on tacit knowledge sharing, in order to form a clearer, and more systemized structure of these topics for post researches.Two, the thesis try to introduce tacit knowledge sharing into Manufacturing. Especially aim to tacit knowledge sharing between maste and prentice, with more strong intention.Plus combination with case, basing on theoretics to analyse and solve problem, which will be a decent implement to previous studies from point of master-prentice pattern to discuss tacit knowledge sharing.The structure of this thesis is:Part One-Introduction. State and define the problem of this thesis. Describe the researching background and practical implications. At the same time, illuminate the possible innovations presented in this research. And set frame of the research.Part Two-Literature Review of relevant theories. Define some relevant keywords of tacit knowledge, review and critic previous study on theories of tacit knowledge sharing.And sum up some importance and traits on tacit knowledge management of Manufacturing.Part Three-Summarize obstacles and corresponded strategy. Gather and sum up obstacles that presented in master and prentice when they doing tacit knowledge sharing. Accordingly, put forward adaptive strategies.Part Four-Case Study. Based on above research, introduce an example of "Model of Master and Prentice" in Qingdao.They carry on Strategies of pulling and pushing, and sharing culture is a long method to promote this model.Part Five-Research conclusions and expectations. Sum up some relevant result, State the limitation and possible flaws and prospect of the post research.
