The Difference Research On Residents' Consumption Structure Of Shandong Province's 17 Cities

Consumer is the fundamental motive of pulling a country or region's economic growth, and residents' consumption structure is an important part of the economic structure, it is the important index of measuring residents' living standards and quality of life. The consumption structure of Town's residents refers to, under the certain economic conditions, the urban residents in the consumer spending is in the proportion of the whole one, it reflects the resident's consumption level and quality of consumption. According to the statistics of the population, one-third of the urban residents are in the about 70 percent of total consumptions Analyzing the status quo and tendency can reflect the general situation of residents' consumption structure. Shandong province is a populous province in China, and its GDP ranks in our provinces in front. The statistics bureau in Shandong province in 2009 about Shandong province's statistical bulletin on the national economy and social development in 2008, indicating continuing to improve the urban residents' lives though the financial crisis has brought adverse effects to countries and regions, but urban residents' living and consumption level in Shandong province is improving continuously. Researching for consumption structure's differences in Shandong province has the extremely vital significance for national macro economic decision-making, region or industry, reasonable decision of consumption promoting the resident consumption structure reasonably.Domestic scholars mainly research the development trend and the analysis of the affecting factors or predicting the future consumption in Shandong province more and more on the trend of researching the consumption structure, but researching the influence factors is not very detailed. Domestic scholars researching on the consumption structure's influencing factors are mainly concentrated in the income gap, area gap and time gap, using panel data model to receive the revolution .but researching on the choice and classification of consumption is little about the research the difference of each area. This paper, based on the analyzing of the consumption's situation in Shandong province in recent years, making a fully research on the provincial town residents' consumption and the key research is for the gap between the consumption structure of Shandong province in different regions, namely thoroughly analyzing the consumption structure of 17 cities, finally, according to the national policy research and the basic situation in Shandong province, putting forward the corresponding policy suggestion to promote the consumption structure of Shandong province overall upgrading to realize each cities' consumption level in harmony.Based on the combining of qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis ,the paper makes a system research on Shandong province's 17 city residents' consumption ,firstly evaluating the consumption trend in recent years, and then ranking in 17 cities and classification, finding the gap between cities .Finally putting forward some policy suggestions on the optimization and all-round development of residents' consumption structure in Shandong province. Based on this premise, the paper conducts the inferred by progressive type.Firstly, the paper tells the theoretical foundation for the research, summarizes the scholars at home and abroad illustrates the research scope, method and related problems. Through consulting the literature to explicit connotation of consumption structure and the common methods of analysis ,the main influence factors and the general trend. Then it introduces the economic measurement model, namely the demand function model and the method of multivariate statistical analysis. Using the spending data of 17 cities in Shandong province between 2006 and 2009, making the comprehensive evaluation analysis. This is the story of the first the empirical analysis part, using ELES model to study the dynamic change trend of residents' consumption structure in Shandong province, realizing that town residents' consumption in Shandong province is in the upgrading developing period, by the survival and development of supplying towards to the goods and enjoying. In the basic content of the Survival material, the enjoying and developing material requirements are rising steadily, and embodies the consumption structure change of the quality of life, the pursuit of various upscale consumer characteristics such as houses, cars, and the effective demand, the demanding for service consumer and quality requirements are improved greatly. Then respectively by using factor analysis and cluster analysis to rank and classify 17 cities consumption level to conclude different degrees for consumption structure around the city, because of the imbalance natural resources in various areas, and the imbalance of economic development level, unreasonable distribution of income and the obvious rich-poor gap in regional urban residents, make the gap in residents' consumption expenditure structure. Finally, combined with the domestic and foreign advanced experience ,combining the actual situation of Shandong province, from all the aspects to improve the consumption structure of Shandong province city, trying to establish a meaningful and operability policy system, forming the government, folk strength, family members, according to internal aspects of different regions, we use the fully policy measures to improve, then hope to further promote the balance in Shandong province, pulling Shandong province's consumer demand to promote the development of the national economy.The innovation in the paper is making a system and complete comparative analysis of Shandong province city for their respective characteristics and analyzing the classification and ranks Using Statistics Bureau's data to analyze consumption gap problem in various prefectures, putting forward some useful and practical Suggestions. The further research is that the study methods can continue to explore design comprehensive measurement model to analyze and study the influence factors under the consumption structure.
