Under economic globalization environment, a large number of enterprises driven by competitive pressure took to the road of transnational business. However, at the same time, cultural conflicts followed by the cultural differences brought into the many obstacles to cross-border operations. In this case, cross-cultural management research is of great significant. The paper selected the more typical representatives of Shanghai Branch of A Company, analyzed the existing obstacles in its cross-cultural management using survey, and proposed resolving strategies base on survey results.This article contains four parts:First part introduces the theory of cross-cultural management; The second part preliminarily drives out the performance of barriers in A company's Shanghai branch cross-cultural management based on its background cross-cultural management and the theory of cross-cultural management; The third part confirms the barriers and its distributing and preliminarily drives out the solving strategies using results of an investigation; The fourth part drives out the solving strategies based on theory and dates.The purposes of this article is to provide thinking Reference to our multinational enterprises on cross-cultural management. According to the characteristics of this research, the paper uses literature combined with empirical research methods and statistical analysis research methods in the research. The innovation of this paper is to use questionnaires to obtain data to confirm obstacles in A's cross-cultural management.
