Hotel training is one of the most important links of human resource management. The main purpose of hotel training is to provide sufficient knowledge for employees so that they can get related knowledge support while strengthening their working capabilities. Further more, good training is a key factor for the hotel's talent retention. Therefore, this is a significant issue for all the hotels in China to consider how to improve the arrangement of hotel training, increase staff's job satisfaction, and keep the staff eventually. The thesis focuses on the case study of luxury hotels in Changsha. The study starts from the relationship between employee training and job satisfaction, then demonstrates its causality, finally proposes suggestions based on the analysis.The thesis is divided into five parts. Part 1 is a brief introduction to the background of the Chinese hospitality industry and the research significance. Meanwhile, it gives the relative literature review and research idea. Part 2 is a comprehensive demonstration and discussion on the related theories of training and degree of satisfaction both at home and abroad. Part 3 sets up the framework of the relationship between employee training and degree of satisfaction, establishes the relative hypothesis and designs the questionnaire. Be sure that the analysis will be done based on the questionnaire's reliability and validity. Part 4 is the empirical study on the relationship between employee training and job satisfaction based on the data given by the questionnaire. Statistics methods, chi-square test, factor analysis of variance, linear-regression analysis are all used in this part to study the questionnaire data. Part 5 is a summary of the thesis'study and makes suggestions for improving hotel training. In the end, the author discusses the innovation of the research as well as the future prospects of the research.The author hopes that the thesis can provide effective theoretical reference and way of thinking for training projects at luxury hotels and even the entire hotel industry.
