The Study On Structural Characteristics Of Urban Connection Network

In recent years, the application of relevant network analysis in geography has become more and more, most city network researches build the urban contact skeleton from the data source such as city traffic flow and information flow, however, the research from the economic ties between cities to build city network is seldom. This article starts with the industry contact in industrial chain, and then builds the city network by taking the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain as city link content.This article selects 2002 input-output data of Shandong province and the second basic unit census data in shandong province to construct associated network of 45 cities in Shandong province, measure the city association network within central, central outside dimensions, urban coupling main direction, etc. finding that:(1) high school in mind city overwhelmingly scale, there are 7 level cities (municipal districts range) in the top 10 urban centrality, they are Zibo, Qingdao, Weifang, Jinan, Laiwu and Yantai city, and mainly distributed in Jiaoji railway lines and the coastal areas of Jiaodong peninsula; (2) Outgoing coupling model city is mainly distributed in the Jiaodong peninsula area. Equilibrium model city is distributed in Jiaodong peninsula and middle region of Shandong province.Meanwhile, this article analysis the whole network of 45 cities and find the town associated the whole network density is 0.6, which is a high density network, closely contact between the nodes compared, City of central and population scale has positive correlation, this network has little world features.This paper gave depth analysis to urban sub-networks, taking Jinan, Qingdao, Zibo City for example referring to the scale structure, functional structure and ring structure of three cities. There were four conclusions as follows, (1) most connections were tied central cities with the medium and small cities.The correlation between urban scale and distance was not significant. (2) The economic inner links were most upstream and midstream of industry chain. Outward economic ties were most midstream and downstream of industry chain. (3)In each circle the linked industries differ in types and numbers.(4) Finally 11 urban industrial agglomeration area were divided from the whole city.
