30 years of reform and opening up, the economic development of Henan Province has made remarkable achievements. The end of 2009, the province's GDP reached 1.948046 trillion yuan, accounting for 5.7% of national GDP, which is 1978's 119.57 times, it were ranked No. 5 and No. 1 in the various regions and the six central provinces; GDP per capita was 20597 yuan of the country's 87.73 percent, which was ranked 10th in provinces (municipalities) autonomous region and 4th in the six provinces. However, behind these achievements, various factors for the formation of regional economic disparity has not narrowed, but in expanding .Although, due to the interaction of various factors, regional differences as an objective process is the embodiment of market economy. Moderate regional differences is favorable in comparative advantages, helping to promote inter-district competition and cooperation, but the difference over the general level, province's rapid and healthy expansion will be hindered the formation of "Matthew Effect", rich are rich,poor are poor.Henan is major province in China and the central region, and also our country's population and agricultural province, its economic development not only the province, but also between the central region and the country's economy healthy and rapid development. Therefore, in the process of economic development on how to grasp the moderation and the status of economic development for the development of appropriate regional development policy to promote coordinated economic development in Henan Province has important theoretical and practical significance.In this paper, drawing a large number of research results, based on the coordination of regional economic differences and the development of relevant theory, the combination of qualitative and quantitative, normative and empirical analysis of the combination, First, regional economic development in Henan Province described situation, using a single indicator variable GDP measured the evolution of regional economic disparities in Henan Province, differences in their economic development come to the conclusion gradually expanding; Then,use of factor analysis on the level of regional economic development in Henan Province Comprehensive Assessment and classification. Finally, based on the conclusions from the above analysis from social infrastructure, economic structure and other factors and with the relevant data analyzed regional economic disparities in Henan Province; in the specific circumstances of Henan Province and the experience of other areas related to economic development experience, made a number of promoting coordinated regional economic development policy, the policy specifically can be summarized as follows: the implention of non-balanced and coordinated development strategy, through increased investment in backward areas, strengthening infrastructure construction, strengthen its regional economic narrowing its gap with developed areas; promote institution building, coordinate the efficiency and equity issues;accelerate and upgrade the transformation of the regional industrial structure; strengthening infrastructure construction and the "Point -Axis" spreading effects, optimize the layout of regional space in order to enhance the overall economic strength.
