| LD Co., established in June 1986 with the provincial government's approval, in order to meet the needs of electric power construction and development in Heilongjiang Province, is a large-scale enterprise. In 2000, LD Co. became one of the first authorized agencies by the provincial government to operate the state-owned assets. And from then on, it turned into a large state-owned holding company with independent legal personality, with a registered capital of 5 billion Yuan. Over the years, LD Co. has made outstanding contributions to the fund procurement and management of local power construction, which give it a high place in the area of investment and financing in Heilongjiang Province.At present, the financial crisis triggered by the U.S. subprime mortgage crisis intensified. Accordingly, the global financial system and the real economy suffered a severe blow, and the economic growth slowed down significantly. In such a situation, China's future economic situation is extremely complex, both internal and external demand will shrink, the period of industry fluctuation presents considerable complexity and uncertainty, and the economic growth will face the risk of accelerating decline. In the face of new economic situation in 2009, LD Co. should think of how to adjust business strategy to take full advantage and avoid getting into trouble.This paper firstly introduces the LD's operating circumstances organizational structure, business composition and operation situation. Secondly, it analyzes the external opportunities and threats LD Co. is facing in detail, including macroeconomic analysis, competitive assay and industry developing state. Thirdly, it analyzes the internal superiority and weakness. Combining the analysis of external environment with internal condition, we put forward the overall strategy and the objective of business portfolio strategy. Finally, this paper gives the security measures of LD's business strategy under such a new situation. |
