In recent years,the hotel industry in Wuxi City is showing the expansion,but in the rapid development of city-star hotel industry,we should also notice a grim reality.Continued intense competition in the industry,makes the hotel industry from the"profits of the times"to"marginal profit",the industry is less attractive to the talent,the staff turnover rate remains high,the loss of key employees,level employees movement too often is the basic characteristics of the movement.there is no doubt that the reasonable staff turnover have the positive impact on business,but high staff turnover make enterprises suffered some economic loss and reputation loss.For example,high staff turnover rate will lead to lower quality service products, the loss of customer ,especially the left of middle or senior managers will take away some of its passenger and commercial secrects, human resource costs,hotel profits decline,increase the difficulty of training and management.This study was based on builting star hotel employee turnover model to arise assumptions, using SPSS16.0 on 213 valid questionnaires to ascertain the effects on turnover intention, and finally put forward constructive measures for reference to the hotel managers.The results show that there is overall low job satisfaction among the staff in star hotel,the return satisfaction is lowest,and the employees turnover rate si high. there is low job satisfaction and strongest tendency to leave among the employees less than 2 years tenure,which need the human resource management to focus on it. the other optional opportunity,work environment satisfaction,the work itself satisfaction,return satisfaction have sifnificant predictive power on employees turnover tendency.According to the conclusions of this study,the hotel company can enhance staff job satisfaction and reducing turnover tendency to carry out effective human resource management.Based on the findings,this study suggests enterprises:Pay attention to match employee personal characteristics and work characteristics of the hotel business;Strengthen staff training and tracking training effectiveness;Pay attention to employee career planning and designing; Establish a rational system of remuneration,value the personal values;Focus on the construction of corporate culture,strengthen mutual communication,to create a harmonious and smooth working atmosphere.Optimize staff,and buiding the staff ages reasonably.
