Study On The Development Of Industrial Clusters In High-tech Zone Of Nanchang City

Through 19 years'continuous development, the High-tech Zone of Nanchang has grown to a vital base in the field of high-tech industrial development of Jiangxi Province, and has formed several characteristic pillar industries. Cultivating industrial clusters has been its major measure.This paper, in the first place, has introduced some reviews of researches which conducted on industrial clusters; drew a systematic review of the recent work on industrial clusters development; and uncovered the necessity of sticking to industrial clusters.In the next place, it demonstrates the trend of industrial clusters development and presents the numerous achievements that obtained during the past 19 years in the High-tech Zone of Nanchang, it has formed several traditional pillar industries in the High-tech Zone, including Electronic Information, Biological Pharmaceutical and High-tech Material. Additionally, some new strategic characteristic industries, such as LED, Photovoltaic, Software Outsourcing, which are under rapid development, to some extent, has formed a combined effect. After this, it constructs an evaluation index system which can be used to quantify the competitive power of Nanchang High-tech Zone's industrial clusters, and used the DEA model to analyze its Input and Output efficiency.Finally, it raises some strategies and advices basing on the analysis of problems exposed in Nanchang High-tech Zone's development.
