| Enterprises own information technology is so weak that the success rate of the information system project is very low, therefore with the help of external forces is a wise choice. As a result of the promotion of this demand, IS service enterprises come into being and develop rapidly to provide customers with relevant knowledge services of information system.The process of IS services is complex and dynamic, intellectual capital is the key factor to influence the service capability. This paper analyses the components of intellectual capital and transformation process of the service capability, demonstrates the causality between intellectual capital and service capability of IS service enterprises by using system dynamics, and establishes a system dynamics model. Suppose an IS service enterprise which tries to improve its service capability through increasingly investing human capital development, Vensim PLE software is used to simulate and test. This model can explain the causality between intellectual capital and service capability well. The simulation result shows that the service capability and intellectual capital changing trends in each of three phases are consistent with theoretical expectations. Based on these, this paper presents conclusions to support strategy decision making of intellectual capital development and service capability improvement for IS service enterprises. |
