Schedule Management Study On C Company New Product Development Project

With the development of economy, saving energies and reducing pollutants discharge are becoming more important in China in order to sustainable development solution. To follow the call of the nation and to meet customers'new requirement in air-conditioning industry, the new product development projects are increasing progressively. So it is urgent for all companies to apply the schedule management technology on new product development project in order to shorten the cycle time of new product development project, and to improve the efficiency of product development and the competitive power of the enterprise.The paper mainly studies the schedule management applied in the new product development project as C enterprise an example. Firstly, team studies the project scheduling. Based on understanding about network planning technology and C Company's working process of new product development project, team uses network planning technology to setup the schedule network chart base on the work breakdown structure of the project. After that, team uses critical path method to calculate the time of work task, and team gets the initial project schedule for the new product development project. Then the final project schedule is identified after time optimized and resource-time optimized which meet the project cycle time. In order to make the deviation between the actual project progress and the planned schedule, a project controlling system is needed, which included projects observation and project controlling. Last but not least, there are the summary of this paper, and indicate the direction of further study. It is sincerely hoped that this paper will bring useful inspiration to schedule management of C enterprise new product development project as well as reference to other peer enterprise project management.
