New Product Project Schedule Management Study For Cooperation Custom Made Product In X Company

With the economic globalization,the market competition among enterprises is becoming fiercer and fiercer.Any company who wants to stand out well,they must launch the new product which market need quicker & better.For the OEM/ODM cooperation company like X company,which offer custom made new product for other brand,it require they have close cooperation together with brand company to develop the new product from the new product concept phase started until the new product launch in the market.So it is particularly important to ensure the time of new product delivery and to seize the market with the fastest speed to maximize profits.However the reality is that during the new product development,even has made a good project timeline plan,the product schedule can always get delay due to out of control.Therefore,it is significant for an enterprise to study how to make better project schedule plan & controlling,then to improve the new product project development schedule management.This thesis in accordance with the idea of combination the theory and practice,and took the related literature on local and abroad with the project schedule management as a guide,based on the problems happened on new product project development of 2014-2016 between X company &O company,has presented and analyzed these problems and found out the root cause for the most important problems.According the root cause,we tried to find out the problem we need to slove.Coming up with the detail improvement methods for enhance new manufacture process study,strengthen the employee experience.Proposed to use ctritical chain methods to improve the project schedule plan and controlling.Proposed the improved project development flow for X company new product development.Meanwhile also come up with new cooperation methods suggestion between X company & O company.Finally based on the project finished,and new project in 2017,we have tried to use the new project methods for analyze & evaluate how much we could improve the time.Research and application of this subject shows that the critical chain project schedule management would help X company get better project pan on the cooperation & custom made new project.The project schedule controlling is also much stronger than before.Based on the analyze & evaluation on the finished projected & new project in 2017,the improved the manage methods works well.Hope this thesis could bring some ideas on the new product project schedule management of middle and small size enterprises.
