The enterprise's quality culture is a key factor for keeping the enterprise consistent and prosperous. It is a series of quality consciousness and ideology formed in the long-term production and management. In modern society, quality concept is converted from traditional small quality concept directly related to product manufacturing into large quality concept. Enterprises pay more attention to each link directly related to customer satisfaction, than quality related to market research, initiation, development, production, marketing, financing and staffing. When enterprises try to provide high-quality products for consumers they need to build up a top-to-bottom quality culture, in addition to the introduction of a quality management system.In light of above, the dissertation firstly puts forward the quality concept, distinguishes broad quality concept from narrow quality concept and illustrates the concept, hierarchical structure and functions of quality culture.Secondly, the dissertation explains the causes for the quality problems in the enterprise:poor consciousness of staff and leadership, incapability of technological innovation, lack of quality process control and incomplete quality management systems; then it moves on to the necessity to build up the enterprise's quality culture:the building-up of quality culture makes for enterprise's survival, promotes a long-term brand culture stragtegy and improves the enterprise's integrated competitiveness. The paper then elaborates the importance of quality culture through in-depth analysis of three cases.Finally, the dissertation suggests approaches to build up enterprise's quality culture-----three shapings and two strengthenings:shaping total customer satisfaction (TCS) quality strategy, Six Sigma and zero defect quality management, etc.
