Ethylene carbonate(EC)is excellent polar solvent of high boiling point,raw material of surfactant and organic synthetic intermediate.Foreign companies have developed techniques to compound furazolidone methyl-carbonate ethylene glycol,functional polymer and modified polymer,etc.EC is applied to organic synthesis field and is potential green basic raw material for organic chemical industry.While,ethylene carbonate of high purity is used to produce lithium battery and it has a good comprehensive electrochemical property.GM Inc.is of the largest scale of production of ethylene carbonate in china.It has the ability to produce13 thousand tons of ethylene carbonate per year.Though GM invested slightly later than companies in Jiangsu and Liaoyang,comparing with companies in the same industry in China,it soon entered the ranks of Lithium-ion battery raw material manufacturers for their high-quality products and thoughtful service,the quality of the products and the yield per year grew to a new level every year,they accomplished astonishing achievements.This text introduces the purpose and meaning of carrying out total quality management,analyses the status before Quality Management System in detail,describes the process of total quality management,evaluates the performance of carrying out total quality management at the same time,and finds the existing problems and ways to improve.Finally,we get the conclusion that carrying out total quality management can build good quality management system,improve the quality of goods and enhance the customer satisfaction.
