Manufacturing is a basic human survival industry, a pillar industry of national economy. China's overall national strength has significantly improved in recent years, manufacturing has also got rapidly developed. But with economic globalization and information era, China's manufacturing enterprises'environment has taken greatly changes, they are facing increasing competitive pressures, manufacturing enterprises' performance directly affects the level of competition. However, most of current researches about performance of manufacturing enterprises evaluation system are mainly financial indicators, rarely considered outside factors of enterprise, business development, customers and other non-financial indicators. Therefore, how to establish a comprehensive system to regulate and guide the performance of manufacturing enterprises, and to do objective evaluation for the whole operation process is one of the important facing issues.The main research results of this paper are as follows:Firstly, combined with authority theory at home and aboard on enterprise performance evaluation system, and the characteristics of manufacturing enterprises, use "fish bone diagram analysis" to build a "multi-level performance evaluation system",covers six areas about financial position, operational procedures, research and innovation, personnel training, customer level and the social environment.Each area contains different evaluation dimensions, factors,and indicators.Secondly, the paper uses the "Combination Weighting Method" to determine the weight. As there are many limitations when using simple weighting method to determine weight. On one hand, subjective weighting method is too random, on the other hand, objective weighting method has higher data requirement, which will greatly affect the accuracy of weight determination. Therefore, in order to avoid the shortcomings of simple weighting method, this paper has combined "AHP Anlysis" and "Coefficient Of Variation Anlysis" to get the more scientific and reasonable weights.Thirdly, combining fuzzy maths and gray system theory, this paper proposes a combination analysis method which is "Fuzzy Gray Relational Analysis" to analyze and evaluate the performance of manufacturing enterprises. It uses "multi-dimensional performance evaluation" approach in the evaluation process that is "from low to high-level performance analysis, from top to low-level evaluation". It can not only compare different enterprises'performance in horizontal perspect, but also analyze individual enterprise's problems in vertical, so as to propose feasible suggestions for performance improvement, which makes the performance evaluation process more scientific and reasonable.Finally, select the six listed auto manufacturing enterprises to do empirical research, using real corporate data to verify the rationality and feasibility of the model. Further more, in order to avoid large calculation problems, this paper use MATLAB programing to realize all the algorithms in performance evaluation process, greatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of enterprise performance evaluation.
