A Tourism Cultural Perspective For The Study Of "Diary Of The Travels Of Xuxiake"

With the rapid development of tourism,the cognition of the tourism activity regularity has increased dramatically in recent years. In front of a number of positive and negative experiences in the past, the tourism culture is playing a more and more important role in tourism industry. In present, digging out tourism excellent ideas of traditional culture is particularly important to the vigorous development of tourism industry. Xu Xiake, as an early pioneer of early Chinese tourism culture, his works will be of great value for our study. The thesis concentrates on the works"Diary of the Travels of Xuxiake", selects the related description of tourism culture to discuss in order to guide the sustainable development of tourism today.The introductory remarks has described development trend of orientation of the tourism culture, pointed out the significance of this study. The thesis has also combed the study status of"Diary of the Travels of Xuxiake", established the related Studying methods and theory.The paper consists of three parts.First The writer has analyzed the thought of the tourism culture by inspecting the ideological theory of the tourism culture and summarized the view of tourism resources, tourism ideas and theory methods in the"Diary of the Travels of Xuxiake".Secondly, through tracing the origin this paper investigates the background and history status of the tourism culture and idea in the"Diary of the Travels of Xuxiake".Last, the author has connected reality, analyzed some shortages in the development of tourism culture, surveyed its own merits that we can learn from in today`s development of tourism resources.In a word, this paper takes the works"Diary of the Travels of Xuxiake"as the breakthrough point, has discussed the core of tourism culture in it, analyzed the tourism culture theory adopted by Xu. The purpose is to sublimate his theory to guide and direct us in the development of tourism resources in the future.
