The Research Of Zhejiang Regional Economic Spatial Structure Evolution During The New Period

The development situation of regional spatial structure plays an important role on the healthy growth of the regional economy, and that the spatial structure is reasonable or not is important for the growing and coordinated developing of regional system, as well as social economic development. As the reform and opening up, the economy and social development have made tremendous progress, and the regional spatial structure has changed a lot. From investigating the change of social economic regional spatial structure of Zhejiang province, we can not only summary the results about the changes on regional spatial structure, but also foresight and guide the future development. Based on these, the article will use qualitative and quantitative method to investigate the evolution of Zhejiang regional spatial structure from 1989 to 2009, so as to show the evolution of Zhejiang regional spatial structure, which will be able to guide future development in return.First of all, the article consults a number of papers about regional spatial structure at home and abroad, keeping abreast of current development in the subject of regional spatial structure. Based on these, firstly, the article applicates qualitative method to investigate the evolution of Zhejiang regional spatial structure since 1985, secondly, the article applicates quantitative method to study the evolution of Zhejiang regional spatial structure with Factor analysis and Cluster analysis. From the investigation, we can see:the regional spatial structure of Zhejiang has undergone the growth of polar nuclei spatial structure (points)-the growth of the polar nuclei area and the development of axis (lines)-the development of the network economic zone (formation of surface) since 1989, now, the spatial structure of Zhejiang has presented continuous concentric circles of core-limbic structures obviously at present.Besides, from the investigation about the evolution of Zhejiang regional spatial structure, we can also see that, the evolution mechanisms of spatial structure are natural situation,social economic growing,technologic development,industrial structure upgrading as well as the policy guide. So, the writer thinks that, the regional spatial structure of Zhejiang province will extend ceaselessly along the development direction of the transport route in future.During the investigating in Zhejiang regional spatial structure, using wrong index maybe makes residuals. So, the article chooses the average index that can reflect the total level of the unit as the index used in the article.
